The brief, to design and build a family home with plenty of room for children to play and have easy access to the outdoors. What child growing up wouldn’t want to be able to flit from the spa pool to the in-ground trampoline back to cool off in the swimming pool! BLISS!!
The heart of the home, kitchen/family room, flows seamlessly to the outside entertaining area that can be enjoyed all year round. The clever use of a children’s wing utilised as both a central media room/lounge also doubles as a 5th bedroom for when guests come to stay. A unique feature of the kitchen is a splash-back window that floods the kitchen with natural light and also offers the onlooker an interesting/arty view of the architectural staircase in the hall.
